Do you remember the “Smart Loan”? You used to hear about it all over the internet, the radio, the TV, Billboards, etc… You know, it was the interest only, buy more than you can afford, adjustable rate mortgage. Wasn’t so smart now was it?
That loan and that company and the people that ran it ruined the Michigan Economy with bad mortgages and irresponsible lending. They suck you in with the promise of “the lowest rates”. Our goal is to give you the lowest rate on a 15 or 30 year fixed rate mortgage and nothing else. When you meet with our staff, they will be discussing a fixed rate mortgage with you. We hate ARMs so much that if you ask for one, we’ll make you sign an acknowledgment that we don’t recommend it.
